Ala has been working in global purchasing for multinational companies for more than 15 years, and in management for over 10 years. During this time, she has had a breadth of experience in working with different personalities and cultures as well as providing advice on career and personal development. She believes that mental health and personal development is important for every individual and has a strong belief in the benefit of counselling. Ala’s passion led her to study for the Master’s degree in Counselling at Monash University.
Ala has experience in counselling with adults, kids and adolescents for both individual and group settings with different focus areas, such as adults with depression, stress, anxiety, and relationship issues, as well as kids with ADHD and Autism. Ala believes that counselling is a collaborative relationship with her clients to develop a tailor-made treatment plan for each individual, couple or family to address the specific issues that they are facing. She aims to provide a safe space for her clients to share their feelings and offers an empathetic and non-judgement approach during her sessions.
Ala is available for Low-Cost Counselling (LCC) sessions in English, Mandarin or Cantonese.
