Amanda is committed to helping clients navigate life’s difficult moments, from dealing with unplanned changes to developing everyday coping skills to strengthen their emotional well-being. Amanda works primarily with young adults and adolescents experiencing stress, anxiety and relationship issues, as well as those undergoing difficult life transitions.

An advocate of person-centred therapy, Amanda believes in an integrated approach to counselling and draws upon therapeutic techniques, including CBT, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and complementary mindfulness skills.

Born in England and raised in multicultural Hong Kong, Amanda is familiar with the challenges that can arise from cultural identities and contexts. A journalist by trade, Amanda has spent the last eight years working with people to uncover their stories, delving deep into their worlds and learning what matters most to them. She now applies these skills to help create a warm, open and trusting space for people to begin their counselling journeys.
