Evgeny Evseev

Evgeny Evseev

Master of Counselling, Monash University, HK.

Fee: HK$850 per 50mins.

Language: English.

“Having been the object of adversities and diversity in my life, I have learned that the dominant dissimilar common matter underlying everyone’s state is one’s inherent energy, which affects their behaviour; state of health; happiness; and success mindset.” (Evgeny Evseev)

Based on a longstanding interest in parallels between physical and mental health, Evgeny’s academic journey at medical college with three years of internship, a B.A. from Kharkiv State Pedagogical University, majoring in philosophy, psychology, and pedagogic studies, provided him with unique educational and practical therapeutic abilities.

Moreover, as a professional, performing arts athlete/coach, he acquired rare expertise in mentoring and counselling, particularly young people and their families. With experience as a shadow teacher and school counsellor, Evgeny can provide a safe, trustful environment for teenagers during the session. Deep listening, goal setting, confidentiality, and skilful questions are a priority for Evgeny when working with schoolchildren. It is no secret that the family is the founder of the child’s behaviour. To provide effective family support Evgeny has met the rigorous academic and training requirements necessary to be designated as a Full Member of the Asian Academy of Family Therapy. He is upgrading his knowledge of legislative regulations and recent therapeutic interventions by participating in various workshops.

Through Evgeny’s Master of Counselling from Monash University and countless hours of accomplished internship experience, he has come to understand personal development in a more clinical way. This experience has enabled him to combine his counselling knowledge with therapy for a range of mental health problems. Evgeny is s firm believer that one of the particular issues that hold back a person from a fulfilling, healthy life is addictive behaviours. Hence, along with well-known, effective interventions such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Positive Psychology, and 12 steps program approach, he works collaboratively with the clients to facilitate their desire for change and enhance their resilience. He is also focusing on the physical and spiritual transformation during the treatment. For the latter, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, relaxation exercises to ease craving symptoms, self-hypnosis, and strategies to prevent relapses are in Evgeny’s therapeutic arsenal.

Over the past year, Evgeny has also been involved in volunteer programs of Doctors without Borders and UNICEF to help people overcome anxiety and depression during COVID-19 lockdowns.

TESTIMONIALS for Jaideep:

Jaideep saved my marriage and made me mentally healthy again!

During COVID, I was very stressed both at work and at home. It was a turning point for me when I met Jaideep at AMindset. I could not thank him enough for his magic work – he helped me to unlock the inside struggle I had and patiently guided me to have more positive thinking. He is very observant and professional – he remembers things we said and draws connections for me to realise how things come together. Moreover, I particularly appreciate his wealth of experience and knowledge in life which enables him to offer different perspectives every time. Also, I want to take this opportunity to thank AMindset’s low-cost counselling services and Liz McCaughey!

I’m very grateful for the counselling services that Jaideep Sengupta provided. I was dealing with anxiety stemming from a painful childhood. In the period of six months, he helped me understand how the problem manifested and introduced me to ways that I could move on from the past, to be assertive and live a happy life, which I have long thought would never happen.

Thanks to AMindset’s low cost and affordable counselling services.
