Master of Counselling, Monash University, HK.
Languages: English and Mandarin.
I am originally from Taiwan and moved to Hong Kong in 2003 after studying in the United States. I worked in multinational corporations, tech start-ups and educational institutions. I am familiar with the challenges of working in demanding work environments, managing teams, parenting and helping families with special needs children.
I am passionate about providing psychological support for diverse individuals and groups to rebalance their lives towards healthy change. This will involve exploring thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and learning to handle hardships while moving towards a richer and more meaningful life.
Each session is not only for emotional support but for setting treatment plans collaboratively as a team. I provide counselling therapy methods best suited to the client’s needs. These methods include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Internal Family System Therapy (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and the Gottman Method for Couple’s Therapy.
