My name is Chris. I start my Master of Counselling studies in a few months and, in the meantime, I am working in conjunction with Liz to offer my counselling services under her tutelage and supervision.
As a counsellor, I am interested in you, what is not working for you, and how we can work together to build your emotional wellbeing so that you live your life differently.
I enjoy, and have success in working with, people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or trapped in thinking and ways of being that are not successful for them. I have helped people deal with issues relating to stress, anxiety, relationships, substance misuse and identity – including LGBTQ+ communities. I apply a mix of cognitive, behavioural, and mindfulness-based counselling methods, guided by your goals for therapy and what works best for you.
