Master of Counselling Student, Monash University, HK.
My name is Chris. As a counsellor, I enjoy working with people who feel stuck or overwhelmed and want to find new ways of living. Whilst life is complicated, our wellbeing is rooted in our capacity to cope and respond to life’s challenges; not our power to change others and events around us.
I work in the areas of emotion regulation, resilience and acceptance. This is most often with people whose ways of coping have become a problem, such as over-working, conflict, anger, substance use, and other unhelpful coping patterns. I also work with clients who are experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges or issues relating to self-esteem, sex and intimacy, including LGBTQ+ communities.
I incorporate a range of evidence-based counselling modalities. However, my main focus is to create a space where you feel safe to explore the challenges you are facing and take action to move forward.
I believe our emotional health is something we can constantly build and I make this a priority in my own day-to-day life. Schedule a session if you would like to bring about change in your life, and we can talk about how counselling will help you move forward.
