Damien is committed to helping people share their struggles, explore their strengths, and take steps to move toward a more resilient and fulfilling way of living. He works with adolescents and adults who need support for difficulties in emotional regulation, relationships, self-image, health issues, and problematic behaviour.

Damien draws from a variety of counselling methods, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, to work with clients in a safe, supportive, and collaborative relationship with an individualized approach that meets each person’s unique situation and needs. Sometimes, people just need to be heard and understood without judgment. Other times, they look to gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts and feelings, more clarity on their difficulties, and find ways to move forward. He helps clients build self-awareness, clarify values, and identify their strengths to find realistic action plans to work with their issues.

Damien believes we all have the capacity for personal growth and making changes in life. Maintaining our health and well-being is a set of skills we can all learn and practice in our life.

Damien is available for Low-Cost Counselling (LCC) sessions in English and Cantonese.
