Dominique is originally from the UK but has lived for long periods of time in the Middle East, USA, Spain, and currently Hong Kong. This has shaped her cultural appreciation and allowed her to experience a multitude of perspectives and approaches to life. With a previous high-pressure corporate career, she is empathetic and attuned to clients who find the demands of work-life balance an ongoing challenge.

As a mother to a young child, her passion is to help clients work through parental difficulties, as well as wider family issues that may include marital problems, disconnection, separation, or divorce. Her focus is on bringing deeper awareness to the client, identifying their personal coping stance, as well as understanding and managing perceptions with expectations.

Dominique would like to help individuals that could have lost a parent recently and might be going through a period of bereavement that involves complex or unresolved grief. Under current global circumstances, this may be an area affecting more of us than usual.

She also understands women or couples that may be going through fertility complications.

With post-grad education in the counselling field, spanning three continents her approach is a combination of Solution-Focused and Person-centred, utilising Satir and CBT techniques for cognitive restructuring and, for deep-rooted emotional difficulties, an EFT approach.

She believes that the client possesses all of the qualities necessary for change and that her role as a counsellor is to highlight those existing stepping stones, already available to them.

Dominique is available for Low-Cost Counselling (LCC) sessions in English.
