Feeling truly understood can be surprisingly rare. We can find ourselves surrounded by people, yet still feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure why we keep returning to the same thoughts, emotions, or patterns. Whether you’re navigating a significant life change, struggling with relationships, feeling weighed down by expectations, or simply sensing that something isn’t quite right, you don’t have to make sense of it alone.

I believe that when we feel genuinely heard and understood, we become better able to understand ourselves. From that understanding comes the opportunity to make choices that feel more aligned with who we are and how we want to live.

My aim is to offer a warm, thoughtful, and non-judgemental space where you don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. Rather than focusing on labels or quick solutions, I work collaboratively with you to explore your experiences, understand the patterns that may be shaping your life, and discover practical ways of moving forward at a pace that feels right for you.

I work with children, young people, adults, and parents across a broad range of concerns, including life transitions, stress, anxiety, emotional wellbeing, identity, relationships, and personal growth.

Before training as a counsellor, I spent more than eight years working in Learning Support and Special Educational Needs (SEND) within international schools. During this time, I worked closely alongside children, young people, parents, and educators, supporting families through learning differences, emotional wellbeing, school challenges, and significant periods of transition. These experiences strengthened my belief that every person’s story deserves to be understood within the context of their relationships, environment, and life experiences.

Having lived and worked across Hong Kong, Shanghai, and the UK, I also bring a culturally sensitive perspective to my work. Much of my career has been spent supporting multicultural and multilingual communities navigating life across different cultures, where questions of identity, belonging, communication, and family expectations are often woven into everyday life. I understand that living between cultures can bring both richness and complexity, and I strive to create a space where every part of your experience feels welcomed, respected, and understood.

I also have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children, young people, and their families. My approach is affirming, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that understanding ourselves more fully allows us to navigate challenges with greater confidence, self-compassion, and resilience.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, my hope is that counselling becomes a place where you feel safe to slow down, explore your experiences with curiosity, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Together, we can work towards helping you feel more connected, more confident, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels meaningful to you.
