7 – Counted Breath
- Settle yourself for meditation
- Honour this space, this is your time
- Close your eyes and settle in to the correct meditation breath.
- Inhale for 7 breaths, hold for one second
- Exhale for 7 breaths, hold for one second
- Repeat 3 times.
- Now breathe normally, whatever makes you comfortable and more relaxed.
- Just observe how you feel.
- And then repeat the counted breathing.
- Do this for as long as you are comfortable.
- When you feel you have had enough of the counted breath – come out of the meditation.
